Twitscoop: a window on the Real-Time Web
Launched in Q1 2008, Twitscoop is a real-time visualisation tool which enables users to "Mine the thought stream" provided by Twitter. Our algorithm cuts every English non-spam tweets into pieces ("tags"), and ranks them by how frequently they are used vs. "normal" usage. Our web application detects growing trends in real-time, identify "scoops" (earthquakes, plane crashes, political events, new tech products etc.) and monitors specific keywords along with custom graphs that display the activity for any given word on twitter. Twitscoop can essentially be taken as the real-time web's television.
LolliCMS: easy yet complete CMS & permission based information-sharing tool
Launched in Q3 2008, LolliCMS is a proprietary Content Management System tool, which enables users to quickly deploy dynamic websites along with a permission-based information sharing infrastructure. LolliCMS mirrors Lollicode’s philosophy in terms of simplicity of use, design and functionalities. Our CMS was successfully deployed for several corporate clients in France.
Pticours.com: private tutor search engine
Launched in Q4 2008, Pticours is a website facilitating connections between tutors and pupils. It combines a minimalistic Google-like interface with on-the-fly criteria refinements and full geolocalization. The tutors are rated by pupils on a regular basis, to make sure our index is always fresh and ranks the best tutors at the top of search results.
More than 500 tutors signed-up on Pticours.com after 2 months – and several successful connections take place every day thanks to our application.
